HaHa....He/she is trying to get to the meat of a Black Walnut !!! They are such hard shelled nuts but squirrels have no problem doing it......My neighbors tree hangs over into my yard so I have lots of these nuts on the ground. It's fun to watch them peeling them but they leave such a mess !!!! Great video did you get this one yourself ?

LOL....I think they may just outlive us....But I have a shortage of them right now since they went deep in the woods to collect and store for the winter, Acorns !!!!!

I got video of this hungry little squirrel at the Peace Valley State Park.
It is a nice park not far from me. We have also seen snakes, turtles, and cranes among others wildlife there.
